Cathy Corison has been making wine for over 30 years in the Napa Valley area. She started for working for Freemark Abbey and then spent a decade as head of winemaking at Chappellet.  In 1987 while at Chappallet Cathy produced her first vintage under the Corison label. 

Cathy produces two Napa Valley Cabernets, one from her estate vineyard, the Kronos Vineyard and the second comes from benchland vineyards between Rutherford and St. Helena .  Her wines are made at the Corison Winery on Highway 29 just south of St. Helena , a property she purchased in 1995.  Cathy produces her two Cabernets without compromise and has consistently made her wines since 1987 to be powerful as well as elegant.
