Failla was started by Ehren Jordan, winemaker for Turley Cellars in 1998.    Ehren made his way to the Napa Valley from the east coast and got his first winery job at Joseph Phelps as a part time tour guide.  He finally made his way to the cellar and volunteered to work for free on the weekends.  After working at Phelps he knew his destiny was in the vineyard and cellar.

In 2004 Failla Wines purchased 10 acres of land on the Silverado Trail.  In addition to renovating the existing facility, they are building a 4000 square foot, bi-level fermentation room featuring gravity-flow wine movement.
