Couronneau is a very old wine-producing property Bordelaise (fifteenth century) of 35 hectares, which continues the sole purpose of making great wines in compliance with the specifications of organic farming. Couronneau is an old castle fifteenth century with a rich history, a vineyard overlooking the entire department found the premises in Roman times and fully restored in 1994 and equipped with facilities of more modern techniques.

Located 180 meters above sea level, on a clay soil with a high slope, the vineyard is planted, for the red, 31 hectares of Merlot, and the white, 3 hectares of which 50% gray's Sauvignon and 50% Sauvignon Blanc. The density ranges between 3500 and 6000 feet per hectare with an average of more than 5000.  Much height of trellis allows for optimal photosynthesis, épamprage ahead, fell from the contres-bourgeons, thinning out manual and the harvest in green, are enabling the estate to work towards excellence.
