Copain has sought out vineyards with expositions, soil compositions, climates, clones and rootstock selections capable of producing wines of distinction and singular character. The selected terroirs they source from are, in their belief, capable of expressing the truest varietal character interwoven with site characteristics and ultimately the vintage nuances. Further enhancing this expression is a belief in organic farming practices which allows the natural balance of flora and fauna inherent in each site to impact the developing vine, fruit and finally the wine.
