The core of the estate, "Ciabot del Preve", was purchased by the grandfather of Giovanni Manzone in 1925 from the priest of Castelletto. Utilizing his experience of cellar master he continued to produce wines that he sold in bulk to private consumers. In the seventies, with the purchase of "Le Gramolere" hill, with a type of soil that naturally limits yields, the estate acquired its present structure.
