Friulano is the most typical white wine of the Friuli region of Italy. It is an indigenous grape variety grown in Friuli for hundreds of years. The Bastianich Friulano is produced in the Colli Orientali area of Friuli, an area known for its unique terroir and where world class white wines of Italy are produced. It allows restaurants and retail shops the opportunity to showcase the quality and value of a Friulano from Colli Orientali.

Medium bodied, with ripe, luscious pear flavors carried by a refreshing mineral flavor and zesty mouthwatering acidity that mixed together create a perfect wine to enhance food. The Friulano grape is also characterized by a slight almond edge. A wine which complements many appetizers such as cured meats like Prosciutto. Try also with fullflavored seafood and fish dishes or with veal or pork.
