The 2010 is a blend of quality vineyards ranging from Paso Robles, which provides the rich black fruit and lush mouth feel, to Mendocino County, providing cold climate characteristics, from the intense tiny berries, such as its tannic structure and rich tobacco and walnut oil flavors, to the celebrity vineyards of Dr. Crane, Las Piedras and Melansin.

This wine is dense and focused, with a wonderful nose of cedar, blueberry and white pepper. Meticulous attention to winemaking details such as sugar levels before harvest and the length of time on new French oak has produced a rich wine, tightly packed with flavor, but happily more approachable and drinkable than many of 75 Wine COmpany's fellow Cabernet Sauvignons.
