Garys’ Vineyards has a bright red color and a dark ruby core. Cool black cherry fruit with a spicy black currant and smoky aroma.  Supple flavors, balanced acidity and smooth tannins reflect its terroir.

Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate : 94 points Feb 2011

"Aged in 50% new French oak, the 2009 Pinot Noir Gary's Vineyard is another textbook example of this wonderful sector of the Santa Lucia Highlands. Sweet black currant and black raspberry fruit aroma intermixed with notions of licorice and earth jump from the glass of this full-bodied, voluptuously textured, long, rich Pinot Noir. Already drinking beautifully, it should continue to evolve for 4-5 years."
