Grapes for the 2009 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir were harvested between September 7th and October 12th at 26.3 brix and spent an average of 20 days on the skins before being pressed to French oak barrels for 11 months aging.   The wine was racked once and bottled unfiltered and unfined on August 30, 2010.

Medium bright red color with a laser-like nose of big, ripe fruits and flowers, boasting plenty of Pinot spice, oak, sweet red rope candy and cinnamon aromas.  The palate is open and lush with a light touch of acidity that carries through the medium length finish.
