This Dolcetto has an intense nose with fruity aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and blueberry. It is dry and soft on the palate, rich and pleasant in the mouth, with austere tannins and a clean, pleasant finish. Suitable for every meal, this wonderfully easy drinking wine would pair particularly well with white meats and pasta dishes. Maceration with the skins in temperature-controlled rotofermenters for 2-3 days, brief passage in used French barriques for three weeks, and aging in steel tanks for 10 months.
